Set a certain tone for that space so whenever you enter it, you know you will be centered and directed on studying. Exercise: After studying for a while, get in some exercise. After you finish exercising, test the material that you've already studied. You will return back to your study zone fresher and your brain will be recharged to recall information faster. Sleep: You could feel drained at any stage and your brain will not be able to take in more information. Sleep will serve a crucial duration for recovery and rest for the brain. Getting proper sleep will incredibly boost the brain's activity. Recording: Record yourself as you are studying and then listen to the recordings as if you were listening to it for the first time. This is a perfect trick to allow you to focus on the most important details of that study session. Reward: Rewarding yourself will encourage you to study with more consistent focus because you will have something to look forward to. For example, after studying two chapters, take short break and watch T.V. or eat your favorite snack.
